Why do press releases for events always include the line "lots of food, fun and activities."

The activities are never fun. Just cheesy.

And why do Americans always need "food" to coax them to coming to events? Why won't we go to events if there's not food?

Fatties.

-The "food, fun, activities" line usually accompanies family events, where the activities might be fun for the kids.

-The food line could entice people who might not have gone without food due to the simple necessity that people require food to live. That way they won't have to go somewhere else to eat before/after.

Maybe you shouldn't blog from the back corner of the office. It makes you sound angry.
